Responsibilities
- Assist the office manager in all general accounting processes for the dealership, including sales booking, taxes, inventory management, floor plan, and company-wide financial reporting.
- Assist in managing daily business office operations, including administrative workflows
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to optimize efficiency
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure all financials are reported correctly.
- Oversee documentation processes, including records management, data entry, and compliance tracking
- Facilitate communication between leadership, staff, and external stakeholders to promote transparency and collaboration
- Lead or assist in special projects aimed at process improvement and operational growth
- Ability to understand general accounting processes and ability to critically analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports are a must!
- Experience in CDK/Intellidealer is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear information flow
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and business management software
- Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Detail-oriented mindset with high accuracy in documentation and recordkeeping
- Prior experience in a business office or administrative role is preferred but not mandatory
