Maintenance Worker

POSITION DESCRIPTION:   Maintenance worker

QUALIFICATIONS:                            

• Properly licensed to operate a motor vehicle. 
• Practical experience in maintenance.  
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 55 pounds to should height occasionally
• Ability to push / pull a minimum of 20 pounds frequently

REPORTS TO:                     Director of Maintenance

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  As established by NBCSD School Board

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Assists the Maintenance Director with his/her stated responsibilities

2. Assists with emergency and routine repairs and maintenance

3. Assists all maintenance and repair of equipment

4. Provides guidance for the improvement of district grounds

5. Assists in the scheduling of personnel responsibilities                                                                                       

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Demonstrates a high level of personal integrity and high ethical standards
2. Maintains puctuality and attendance

3. Perform as a team player on other duties as may be assigned

4. Dress and grooming should be appropriate  

5. Performs other responsibilities/duties as designated by the Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent, Director o Maintenance and/or the Superintendent's designee
