• Director of Instructional Technology
• Act 93, 12 month position

Job Summary

Plans, organizes, controls and directs operations and activities related to the development and implementation of instructional technology programs, curriculum standards, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Education (Required)
• Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate (Required)
• K-12 Principal’s PDE Certification
• Instructional Technology Specialist Certificate (Required)
• Strong knowledge of computer systems from a user, teaching, and training perspective
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite, electronic mail, and classroom applications
• Ability to utilize scientific research to support the utilization of instructional technology resources in the curriculum
• Ability and willingness to work with technology in all areas of the district curriculum
• Can demonstrate the use of instructional technology tools in practical classroom settings
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations to co-workers, faculty, staff, and parents

Dir. of Instructional Techonology - Job Description

Salary commensurate with the Act 93 Compensation Plan. The selected candidate shall be chosen based on credentials, the ability to demonstrate job functions and the successful completion of interview(s) along with meeting all local requirements.
