Position Description
POSITION TITLE: Academic Coach
QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree or equivalent in administration
-
State teaching license
-
Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience
- Proficient in content area instructional strategies, best instructional practices, data analysis, intervention/enrichment planning
-
Effective communication skills
-
Effective problem solving skills
-
Ability to work during non-scheduled teaching hours
REPORTS TO: Principal, Assistant Principal
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

To provide assistance to the principal during the normal operation of the school.

To provide administrative leadership in the absence of the principal.

To provide leadership and support to the principal in the following organizational areas.

After school/Summer school facilitation
-
School improvement activities/funding
-
MTSS
-
School/District/State testing
-
Curriculum organization
-
In-service sessions for faculty
-
Other administrative tasks as assigned by the principal
