What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer - ECSD position at District Wide?
VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
EAGLE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Eagle County School District.
To become a volunteer, you must complete two required steps:

Complete the online volunteer application

Complete a background check (conducted by the district)

Complete fingerprinting (only if applicable—see below)
Once your application and background check are approved, the school coordinator for the school you selected will contact you with next steps.
Step 1: Complete the Online Volunteer Application
Complete the online application to begin the volunteer process by clicking on the "APPLY HERE" box at the top of the job description.
Step 2: Background Check
As part of the application process, Eagle County School District will conduct a background check for all volunteers to help ensure the safety and security of students and staff..
For most volunteers, this will be an instant background check conducted by the district.
No additional action is required from the applicants for this step.
Step 3: Fingerprinting (If Required)
Fingerprinting is required (instead of the instant background check) only for volunteers who:

Serve as a coach, or
-
Participate in overnight field trips with students
All other volunteers will complete an instant background check conducted by the district.
Important: Please do not schedule or complete fingerprinting unless your volunteer role includes one of the activities listed above.
Step 4: Wait for Approval
Background check results are sent directly to ECSD.
Once your application and instant background check are complete and approved, you will be added to the district’s approved volunteer list, which is accessible to all schools.
The school coordinator will then contact you with next steps.

Fee Details:- ECSD will pay the $57.50 CBI/FBI background check fee.
- You will pay only the $10 vendor fee (paid by credit/debit card).
- No reimbursements will be issued.
*If you do NOT use the billing code, you will be charged $57.50 for the CBI/FBI background check fee plus the $10 vendor fee.
Fingerprinting Steps for Colorado Fingerprinting's Website
- Login or Create and account
- Locate an Enrollment Center convenient for you (Copy Plus preferred) and make an appointment.
- Enter the billing code: 1417ECSDNonLic
- Complete the pre-enrollment process by entering the required CBI and FBI information.
- Attend your 10-minute appointment at the Enrollment Center. A technician will complete
- ID verification
- Fingerprint capture
- Photo capture
- Signature capture
- Pay the $10 vendor fee by credit/debit card.
Processing Time: Results are returned to ECSD within 3 to 5 business days.
- If prints are rejected for quality (less than 1%)
- You will be notified by email or phone.
- You will receive an automated link to reschedule at no charge.

Salary : $10 - $58
