What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Therapist - Long-Term Sub position at District Wide?
LONG-TERM SUB, April 2026-June 10, 2026
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech & Language Pathology required
- Valid State of Michigan SLP licensure/ credentials
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in the Pre-K-12 educational environment serving students with varied abilities and needs
- Knowledge of PBIS, Common Core/ Essential Elements learning standards
- Knowledge and experience with student use of AAC for communication purposes
- Ability to use and analyze student data to develop interventions and monitor student progress
- Ability to evaluate students based on Michigan Special Education eligibility rules, write evaluation reports, and develop and monitor IEPs
- Understands and uses evidence-based learning and teaching theories, strategies, and approaches
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills
