What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long-Term Substitute - Social Worker (Multiple Positions) position at District Wide?
September 2026 to December 2026
Qualifications:
- School Social Worker certification required or meet requirements for full or temporary approval from MDE
- Must have strong behavioral background with an emphasis on creating and implementing behavior plans and functional behavior assessments
- Strong data analysis experience preferred
Description:
- Provide professional development on behavior strategies to teachers and administrators
- Works with building in behavior support
- Develops RTI and behavior in strategic planning
- Takes an active role in the SST at the building level by addressing behavioral needs for all students
- Supports all at-risk students
- Knowledge of community mental health agencies
- Facilitates SEL interventions
- Referrals to outside agencies
- Classroom groups
- Plans for individual students and small groups on targeted skills
- Regular and consistent attendance
