Miami Public Schools is accepting applications for a full time Grounds Keeper position for the 2025-2026 school year.
POSITION SUMMARY
The person in this job will maintain and care for the district grounds, completing tasks such as mowing, weed eating, trimming trees and related work as specified by the Maintenance Director.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs related work as required
Cut grass, weeds, brush and trees
Remove obstructions such as trees and brush from grounds and roads
Maintain landscape features
Repair fences as necessary
Assist in keeping sidewalks clear of snow and debris
Perform repairs on groundskeeping equipment
Help with event setup
Assist other departments with seasonally pending work loads as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience trimming trees
Ability to follow written and oral directions
