Classified Substitute (Instructional Aide/Cook/ Custodial)

TITLE:   Substitute 

REPORTS TO:   Principal

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports to the building principal (school secretary) upon arrival at the school building.

• Reviews with the principal or department head all plans and schedules to be followed during the day.

• Maintains as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of the school, classroom or area to which he is assigned.

• Follows all policies, rules and procedures to which regular classified employees are subject to.
• Any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or superintendent.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:                                                    

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of the position 
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
• Satisfactory completion of State mandated health examination.

EVALUATION:

• Performance of this job will be evaluated by the principal.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Salary commensurate with the Russell Independent Schools Substitute Salary Schedule.
