SUMMARY:
Hudson Public Schools is looking for a staff member to line/paint the athletic fields for the fall and spring sports seasons.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions or duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various type of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.
- Available daily to ensure lining of both game and practice fields throughout each season
- Available on game days to line infields with chalk for both baseball and softball
- Must be able to operate and properly maintain robot to line fields, clean the robot, storing items, using iPad systems with robot.
- Accurately measure and establish athletic fields for specific sport
- Prepare athletic fields and layouts prior to scheduled events.
- Nights, weekends and holidays may be required
- Any other assigned items by the Athletic Director
Qualifications:
- Must have valid Driver's license
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time outdoors.
- General understanding of Field Lining paints, machines and use
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Successful completion of Criminal Records Check (CORI), and fingerprints
STATUS:
- Part Time Role with flexible hours and schedule (less than 15 hours/week)
- $25.00/hour with a 10/hr week minimum
- Seasonal employee- August–November, and March–June

The employee may be required to occasionally traverse throughout the building. The employee must frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and use hand strength to grasp tools. Frequently operates a computer and other productivity machinery.
