**INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY**
Description: Leominster Public Schools “Anticipated Teaching Positions” Credit Recovery SUMMER SCHOOL 2026 Grades 6-12
Location: Leominster High School / Samoset Middle School
Positions: MS/HS Teachers (ELA/Math/Science/SS/ELL teacher) Part-time/ Contractual Hourly Rate ($50) 18 hours a week
Program runs:
- June 29th - July 30th (M-Th 7:40am - 12:10pm) (Student facing: Contractual - $50/hr)
- June 25th - 4 hours of planning with content specialists (Contractual - $40/hr)
- Attendance for all five weeks (20 days) is strongly encouraged **
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute daily lessons aligned with credit recovery goals.
- Develop and administer pre- and post-assessments to measure student progress.
- Deliver 20 days of instruction, ensuring engagement and mastery of content.
- Facilitate the first 30 minutes of each day dedicated to summer reading.
- Monitor student progress and provide individualized support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and assessments.
- Communicate with students and families regarding progress and expectations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student success.
Report to: On-Site Coordinator and Administrator - Jeanine Boulay, Administrator of Teaching and Learning
