Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of this role is to improve academic achievement by providing academic support, motivation and guidance to all instructional staff for PK-12 ELAR and Social Studies. Provide instructional staff with professional development that will expand and refine the understanding of effective curriculum. Provide personalized support that is based on the goals and identified needs of individual teachers in support of the school improvement action plan. Attend PLCs and help with Teacher Incentive Allotment process.

Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Master’s degree from accredited university (preferred)
Valid Texas teaching certificate in ELAR and/or Social Studies, ESL preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation
Ability to interpret data and evaluate instruction programs and teaching effectiveness
Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
