What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leadership Academy (Internal CISD Employees ONLY) position at District Wide - Comal Leadership Academy?

Purpose:
The purpose of the Comal ISD's Leadership Academy is to recruit, develop, and retain leaders who will achieve the mission and goals of the Comal Independent School District. To be effective, a leader must have the knowledge, skills, and talent that cannot be acquired in college courses alone. The program helps to bridge the gap between theory and practice for teachers aspiring to be leaders. The academy is recommended for teachers interested in strenghtening their leadership skills and who may be considering a leadership position.
Application Reqirements:
- Currently employed with Comal ISD
- Sincere interest in developing your leadership within Comal ISD
- Minimum of three (3) years of full-time teaching experience
- Completed or currently enrolled in a masters program (prinicpal, curriculum and instruction, or related program)
- Online reference from current supervisor
