Job Title: Server Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team.
As a Server Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless dining experiences for our guests. You will assist servers and bartenders, maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Assist Servers and Bartenders: Support servers and bartenders by delivering food and beverages to guest tables promptly and accurately, ensuring orders are correct and well-presented.
Table Maintenance: Set and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are clean, well-organized, and properly stocked with utensils, napkins, and other dining essentials.
Customer Service: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, answer their questions, and provide recommendations on menu items. Attend to guest needs promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Bussing and Clearing Tables: Clear dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware from tables promptly, and reset them for the next guests. Dispose of waste and maintain a tidy dining area.
Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to coordinate food and beverage service, ensuring timely delivery and a smooth flow of orders.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Assist in general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, server stations, and other work areas.
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other team members to provide excellent service and create a positive work environment. Communicate efficiently with servers, kitchen staff, and management to address guest requests and concerns.
Compliance: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring all protocols are followed to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards guest satisfaction.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage menu items is desirable.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy trays for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
