To qualify at the GS-07 level, you must possess:
Specialized Experience: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in the Federal service performing (obtained in either the public or private sectors) (4) of the (5) duties listed below:

This Docketing Technician (OA) serves as a point of contact and a source of procedural and systemic information on all aspects of docketing systems for Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) and legal support staff.
If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing Docketing Technician (OA) support in the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Columbia, located in Washington, District of Columbia, focusing in the areas of docketing and complex legal report development using computerized case tracking and record-keeping systems in the USAO-DC.
Typical work assignments will include:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required basic requirement and specialized experience for the respective grade level in which you are applying:To qualify at the GS-07 level, you must possess:

- Receives and updates inquiries on case status from Criminal Division staff, e.g., Chiefs, Deputy Chiefs, AUSAs and legal support staff, the Court, other USAO-DC staff, defense counsel and other external partners.
- Retrieves information using query routines or from hard copy reports.
- Performs necessary research to correct and update case records.
- Develops and maintains automated records from initial referral to final disposition and case file closure.
