Coffee Truck Barista & Customer Experience Specialist
Location: Washington, DC (Mobile Coffee Truck)
Pay: $18–$20 per hour tips (Average earnings often exceed $22/hour)
Schedule:
- Part-time or Full-time
- Early mornings required
- Typical start time: 5:30 AM
- Weekend availability is a plus

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages
- Welcome every customer with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat business
- Help attract new customers through friendly, engaging interactions
- Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately handle transactions
- Set up and prepare the truck before opening
- Keep the truck clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the day
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with opening and closing procedures

Experience
Preferred:
- Barista or coffee shop experience
- Retail, hospitality, restaurant, or customer service experience
- Sales experience or experience building customer relationships
Not Required:
No barista experience? That’s okay. We can teach coffee. We can’t teach personality, work ethic, and a genuine love for serving people.
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Able to work efficiently in a compact workspace
