Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders from guests using the OpenTable system or traditional methods.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper handling and sanitation practices.
- Promote daily specials or menu items to enhance sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with familiarity in operating cash registers.
- Proficient in math skills for accurate order processing and cash management.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
