Temporary Environmental Health Assistant
This is a 30-40 hour a week temporary position and will last until September 1, 2026. Performs collection of water samples at 21 Lake Michigan beaches and Inland Beaches. Each beach will be tested weekly. Recording all results into state database. May assist laboratory staff with preparing water samples for analysis. Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently and navigate computerized databases and complete data entry.
- Ability to retrieve and manage data collection of water samples.
- Reliable transportation with valid Michigan driver's license and certificate of insurance to travel to other locations for work.
- High School Diploma or GED
