TITLE: Instructional Aide, Summer School - Elementary
CLASSIFICATION: Hourly (non-exempt)
PAY RATE: Hourly Equivalent (Instructional aides will be paid their hourly rate)
REPORTS TO: Summer School Administrator
LOCATION: Mt. Tabor Elementary & Floyds Knobs Elementary
GRADE LEVELS: Grades 2, 3 and 4
SESSION I: June 3-19, 2026; 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists teacher as needed with students
- Provides small group instruction under the supervision of a certified teacher
- Supervises students as assigned during arrival and dismissal
- Collects and monitors attendance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or nonprescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the Corporation.
