SUMMARY: To provide basic customer service and information to community residents concerning the enrollment in our community education programs, before and after school programs, facility rental, pay to participate, tax credit, and any other district programs. This will include the collecting of all paperwork and funds pertaining to the above programs.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Receives and responds to calls, inquiries and information requests; greets visitors; provides routine information and forms; refers special requests to appropriate resource; serves as backup for reception duties, as needed.
  • Performs clerical support; receives mail; compiles and processes forms; organizes and maintains files, records, and documentation; performs data entry and verifies accuracy of data input; updates documents.
  • Receives and accepts registration requests; verifies program space and registers applicants; monitors payments and payment reminders; sets up payment plans for past due fees.
  • Maintain up-to-date records on each student registered in a community education class.
  • Reconcile statements, research variances, and resolve issues relating to financial activity.
  • Ability to work independently and meet timelines.
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.
  • Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Basic knowledge of accounting procedures and functions.
  • Basic knowledge of Eleyo and Google docs platform preferred.

LICENSING:

  • Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated competency in computer literacy and Excel.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • Techniques and methods for organizing, prioritizing, and monitoring work.
  • Standard practices, methods and materials of assigned work.
  • Basic mathematical concepts.
  • Basic filing and record-keeping principles.
  • Best practices, trends and emerging technologies.
  • Applicable federal, state and local laws, codes, regulations.

  • Utilizing a computer and relevant software applications.
  • Utilizing communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, the general public and others to sufficiently exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.


ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Positions in this class typically require:  balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

 

Light Work:  Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. 

 

Working Conditions:  Work is routinely performed in an indoor, office environment.
