The Payne County District Attorney’s Office is seeking a highly organized and motivated Case Manager for our Juvenile Division. This full-time position serves both the Payne County (Stillwater) and Logan County (Guthrie) offices.
The successful candidate will provide critical support to Assistant District Attorneys by managing juvenile litigation files, preparing legal documents, and ensuring the efficient flow of cases through the District Court system.
Core Responsibilities:
- Legal Support & Filing: Assist Assistant District Attorneys in the preparation, formatting, and timely filing of legal documents, petitions, and motions in District Court.
- Case Management: Organize and maintain comprehensive physical and digital case files; track court dates, and deadlines.
- Administrative Oversight: Perform essential clerical and secretarial duties, including data entry, managing office correspondence, and maintaining strict confidentiality of juvenile records.
- Inter-Office Coordination: Coordinate tasks and case files between the Stillwater and Guthrie offices to ensure consistent operations across both jurisdictions.
Required Qualifications:
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with legal staff, law enforcement, and the public.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced computer skills, including mastery of word processing (MS Word/Google Docs) and ability to quickly learn e-Prosecutor case management software.
- Organizational Mastery: Extreme attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, fast-paced legal environment.
- Professionalism: Proven ability to follow complex directions, work collaboratively in a team setting, and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for frequent travel between the Stillwater and Guthrie office locations.
- Background Requirements: Must pass fingerprinting and comprehensive background check.
Pay: $2,600.00 - $2,750.00 per month
