The Job

Summary:

• Pick, stage and load outbound trailers
• Unload, receive, and put away inbound material
• Use handheld scanning device to accurately maintain inventory control
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping floors, pallet areas, and docks neat.
• Promote safe and efficient work by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Infrequent movement of hazmat material
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Willingness to work in both climate-controlled and non climate-controlled environments
• Willingness to work at multiple work sites, sometime during the same shift
• Provide own transportation to different work sites (all within Vigo County) as needed

Education/Experience Needed:

Two or more years experience in warehousing required. Two or more years experience in materials handling required. Five or more years of forklift experience required.

What We Offer:

This is a full-time position. Work hours vary, and most employees work 5 days per week. Some shifts are 4 days per week. Weekend work may be required. Employees must be available to work overtime as needed.

The Teamsters Union represents our employees after 45 days of employment. Wages and benefits are determined through collective bargaining. The current wage for this position is $29.00 per hour.

We offer an excellent benefits package. The current contract agreement provides fully paid health insurance and a pension plan funded by the company.
