Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Interior Designer role based in Sarasota, FL. The Senior Interior Designer will lead the design process from initial client consultation through final installation, including programming, concept development, space planning, and material and finish selections. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing design presentations, developing detailed drawings and specifications, selecting and coordinating FF&E, and overseeing design documentation. The role will collaborate closely with clients, architects, builders, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed accurately, within budget, and on schedule. The Senior Interior Designer will also manage multiple projects, mentor junior team members, conduct site visits, and support project administration, including approvals, ordering, and installation coordination.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with demonstrated experience in high-end residential and model home projects.
- Strong understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read, develop, and coordinate detailed plans and specifications.
- Hands-on experience with FF&E selection, procurement, and coordination, including finishes, furnishings, lighting, and accessories.
- Advanced skills in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities, with a service-oriented approach.
- Proven project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with contractors and vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; professional licensure or NCIDQ certification preferred or in progress.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of professional interior design experience, ideally in luxury residential and commercial environments.
- Ability to work on-site in Sarasota, FL, conduct jobsite visits, and oversee installations as needed.
