Cabinet Installer

Distinctive Cabinetry and Designs, LLC seeks a Cabinet Installation Tech reporting to the Field Services Manager that will be responsible for installing our products according to approved layouts and to customer expectation. This person is essential in maintaining a strong rapport with customers by identifying problems and providing solutions and maintaining customer confidence. The person in this position is integral in satisfying customer expectations and routinely represents the company with end users, and usually in a team of two techs.

Job Description

• Work with contractors and customers in understanding installation issues
• Fix problems using general woodworking skills
• Conducts vehicle inspections per DOT Regulations
• Cleans and maintains vehicles
• Work in final assembly, wrapping and quality control of cabinets
• Sweeping and cleaning of loading dock and offices
• Edge-banding, sanding and operating (other plant/production responsibilities)
• Must be able to field engineer solutions to problems using expertise in cabinet building, trim carpentry, stain and finish, etc

• Cutting and installing fillers, crown molding and light rail tight to adjoining walls
• Cabs need to be level and plumb within industry standard
• Ability to Install trim according to approved layouts
• Clean out cabs after install

Licenses Needed: Colorado Driver’s license and a driving record that meets insurance requirements

Physical Activities and Safety: 40% standing,40% walking, 20 % sitting - Must be able to lift and carry 100 lbs. Must strictly adhere to company safety policy, including wearing safety glasses, gloves and a back brace where required.
