This independent CPA firm in Rockwall is hiring a Tax Manager with a genuine route to Partner and equity. The owner is already thinking seriously about the next generation of leadership and wants to bring in someone who can become part of that future.

The role itself is broad and properly senior. You will review complex tax work across individuals, partnerships, S Corps, C Corps, and trusts, while also helping manage workflow, develop staff, and build stronger client relationships across the year.

The client base is established and loyal. The work is more advisory led than volume driven. There is hybrid flexibility built on trust. And there is a clear sense of direction around where the firm is going.

Most importantly, the path from Manager to Partner is a real conversation from the start, with openness around what progression could look like and what will be expected along the way.

What you’ll be doing

Reviewing complex tax work across individuals, partnerships, S Corps, C Corps, and trusts

Managing workflow and helping keep standards high across the team

Developing staff and supporting their progression over time

Building stronger client relationships throughout the year

Supporting more advisory led work across an established client base

Gaining wider exposure to how the firm operates and where it is heading
