Ambiguity pays the bills in commercial litigation. Somebody drafted a clause that meant one thing to the buyer and something else entirely to the seller, and now it's your job to persuade a judge which reading makes business sense.

I'm Ryan Jaiswal at Distinct Recruitment, and I'm hiring a commercial litigation associate in Orlando. This is commercial litigation, full stop: business disputes, contracts, partnership and shareholder fights, and the occasional injunction that turns a quiet week into a busy one. It is not insurance defense.
Your caseload
• Breach of contract, business tort and fiduciary duty claims
• Disputes between companies, owners and partners
• Emergency motions and injunction hearings
• Written discovery strategy, depositions and dispositive motion practice
• Trial and arbitration preparation, working alongside experienced partners
What you'll need
• 3 to 5 years of commercial litigation experience
• Strong academics
• Florida Bar membership
• Writing that is clear, persuasive and short when it needs to be
Working pattern
Hybrid, with your office base in Orlando.
Pay
$130,000 to $200,000. It's purposely broad, with flexibility for the right candidate if your experience warrants it. I'll walk you through billable expectations on our first call.
