A leading North Carolina law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Raleigh office. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated business disputes in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with strong mentorship and direct client exposure.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex commercial and business litigation matters in state and federal courts
- Draft motions, pleadings, and briefs, and manage all phases of discovery
- Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
- Work closely with clients on case strategy, risk analysis, and dispute resolution
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups on high-stakes matters
Qualifications
- 3 years of commercial or complex litigation experience
- Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to independently manage cases and client relationships
- Large law firm experience or judicial clerkship preferred
- North Carolina bar admission (or ability to obtain within one year)
