About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Raleigh office. This role provides hands-on experience in all phases of civil litigation, with opportunities for direct client contact and professional growth. You will collaborate closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and clients while managing cases efficiently and delivering high-quality legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage civil litigation cases from inception through trial
• Assess new files to develop action plans, budgets, and recommendations
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as appropriate
• Draft and respond to discovery requests, manage document production, and maintain organized case files
• Attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and other discovery events, providing detailed reports
• Negotiate settlements, secure necessary authority, and prepare for trial
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals, legal assistants, and clients

Qualifications:

• 2-10 years of civil litigation or relevant legal experience
• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
• Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal database management systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and cases independently
