Attorney – Insurance Defense Litigation
Philadelphia, PA | Hybrid
Compensation: $100,000–$200,000
A respected and expanding litigation firm is seeking a driven Insurance Defense Attorney to join its Philadelphia office. Key Responsibilities:
- Defend clients in General Liability, Premises Liability, Motor Vehicle, and Slip & Fall cases
- Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Attend court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations
- Draft legal documents, briefs, and reports with precision and timeliness
- Work closely with clients and senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies
- Deliver results through strong negotiation and advocacy
Qualifications:
Required:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance defense litigation
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and caseloads independently
Preferred:
- New Jersey Bar admission
- First- or second-chair trial experience
- Experience with case management systems and litigation software
