Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Detail Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, cleaning, prepping and documenting vehicles for all departments. This role requires a strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to drive and operate equipment safely. The Support Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality service and satisfaction. This position offers a foundation in car care knowledge with the ability to move into specialized departments, and requires good communication skills to work alongside the rest of our staff. Detailing experience is greatly preferred, but not required.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and decontamination of vehicles so they can be routed to individual departments for service
- Evaluating vehicles upon arrival and documenting appropriately
- Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and organized
- Drive vehicles to designated areas
- Assist in loading and securing vehicles in our enclosed trailer
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve efficiency
Requirements
- Previous experience in car wash/detail shop is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff members
- Ability to drive vehicles safely and possess a valid driver's license
- Knowledge of interior/exterior detailing techniques is helpful
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift and move equipment or materials as necessary
- Passion for the detail industry and willingness to learn new skills (paint protection film, window tinting, detailing, etc)
- Ability to work light overtime with occasional weekends is helpful, but not required
