Eastern
Shore based Commercial Marine Construction Company is looking for a skilled
construction Foreman to lead a crew in marine construction projects. Ensuring
safe and efficient completion of tasks, adhering to safety protocols and
project specifications, while also managing equipment, materials, and personnel.
· Directly
supervise and lead a crew of marine construction workers.
· Train
and mentor new crew members on construction methods, operating equipment, and
safety procedures.
· Monitor
crew members for adherence to safety protocols.
· Ability
to delegate tasks.
· Read
and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and plans.
· Communicate
effectively to project owners, superintendents, project managers, and other
stakeholders.
· Maintenance
of marine and land-based equipment.
· Utilize
project management software and provide reports as needed.
· Obtain
OSHA 30-hour training certificate, and other certifications as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum
of five (5) years of experience in a similar role with a heavy civil
contractor, preferably marine.
- Strong
knowledge of marine construction techniques, and/or methods of construction
including pile driving.
- Ability
to work in a physically demanding environment, including exposure to weather
and water.
