Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized product recommendations based on their needs and preferences
• Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and handle cash or card payments with care
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are attractively presented
• Conduct regular inventory checks, assist with stock replenishment, and manage product rotation to minimize waste
• Uphold all safety, security, and compliance protocols related to cannabis sales and store operations
• Upsell products by highlighting new arrivals or complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers via phone etiquette or in-person interactions, including bilingual support when needed

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment, with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product details clearly and confidently
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales transactions and inventory management
• Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases effectively
• Knowledge of retail merchandising, stocking procedures, and store presentation standards
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally in a fast-paced environment
