Armed Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Candidates with experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, or surveillance will find this position particularly rewarding.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential security risks.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and actions taken.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor.
• Ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operations.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and best practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Must possess a valid security officer license or certification as required by local regulations.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
