Audio Visual Technician (AV Tech)

Dispatch AV LLC is hiring Audio Visual Technicians (AV Techs) for a temporary contract assignment supporting an upcoming corporate event at the Omni Severin Hotel in Indianapolis, IN.

PAY & LOCATION

• Pay: $37.50 per hour

• Location: Indianapolis, IN 46225

• On-site work; temporary contract assignment

EVENT DATES & SHIFTS

All times are local Indianapolis time (EST).

• Sunday, November 15, 2026: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM (full day)

• Tuesday, November 17, 2026: 4:00 PM–9:00 PM (5-hour half day)

There are 10 shift openings across the two dates. Please indicate your availability for each shift when applying.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, operate, and strike audio visual equipment for live events.

• Work with projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, video switchers, and lighting systems.

• Troubleshoot AV equipment issues during setup and live events.

• Work collaboratively with event staff and production teams.

• Follow on-site direction from the lead technician and client contacts.

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience with AV equipment setup and operation in a hotel, convention, or live event environment.

• Ability to safely lift and move 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.

• Reliable transportation to the venue.

• Punctuality and availability for the full duration of each accepted shift.
