What Does a Cashier Do at Dish Society?
At Dish Society, cashiers are way more than order-takers—they’re the face of the guest experience and the heart of our front-of-house team.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Greet every guest with energy, warmth, and genuine hospitality
- Take accurate orders and input them into the POS system efficiently
- Guide guests through the menu and answer questions like a pro
- Run food, make drinks, bus and reset tables as needed
- Craft coffee and non-alcoholic beverages to spec
- Restock utensils, cups, sauces, and to-go supplies
- Keep FOH areas clean, organized, and guest-ready
- Treat every patio pup like a VIP—yes, there are dog treats
- Communicate with your team and jump in to help wherever needed
- Keep things flowing smoothly to minimize wait times and maximize guest satisfaction
The Details:
- Start at $13/hr during training
- Once trained, earn base pay tips
- Full-time and part-time roles available
- Must have weekend availability
