What are the responsibilities and job description for the BOH Leader position at Dish Management LLC?
Hiring: BOH Leader
Location: Dish Society Heights
Full-Time – Open Availability Required
Are you a strong kitchen leader who still loves being on the line? At Dish Society, our BOH Leads aren’t standing off to the side — they’re in it with the team, leading by example every shift.
This role is built for experienced BOH leaders who know how to run a kitchen and work a station at the same time. You’ll be fully integrated into the line while also owning leadership responsibilities like coaching, quality control, and execution.
If you’re looking for a role where you can lead, develop people, and still stay hands-on in the kitchen — this is it
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Work a station every shift — this is a hands-on role where you’re part of the line, not separate from it
- Lead the flow of the kitchen in real time by managing ticket times, communication, and team positioning
- Coach and develop BOH team members on the line, reinforcing recipes, standards, and efficiency
- Ensure all food meets Dish Society specs for quality, consistency, and presentation
- Support ordering, inventory awareness, and product management to keep the kitchen set up for success
- Open or close the kitchen using established systems, ensuring readiness, cleanliness, and organization
- Maintain strong food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Partner with FOH leadership to ensure a smooth service and strong guest experience
- Step into leadership moments naturally — solving problems, supporting the team, and keeping the kitchen moving
- Uphold and model Dish Society’s values of hospitality, pride, growth, and connectedness
Who You Are:
- An experienced BOH leader — you’ve led shifts or teams in a kitchen before
- A working leader — you don’t just direct, you lead from the station alongside your team
- Calm, focused, and decisive under pressure
- Highly reliable and accountable — your team knows they can count on you
- Detail-driven — you care deeply about food quality, cleanliness, and consistency
- A coach — you naturally teach, support, and elevate the people around you
- Comfortable working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays — you understand the rhythm of the industry
- At least 18 years old with strong kitchen experience required
Schedule & Availability:
This role is typically scheduled 45-50 hours per week, with flexibility based on business needs. Open availability is strongly preferred, including a mix of AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation:
This is an hourly leadership role based on experience. Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.

Work schedules will include a mix of AM, PM, and mid shifts, as well as weekends and holidays. Open availability is required for all leadership roles to ensure consistent coverage during peak business times.
