POSITION SUMMARY
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children
- Support children's growth in cognitive, physical, social/emotional, and spiritual domains
- Maintaining training and certification requirements
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to work full days Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
- Must meet initial training requirements as specified in Oregon’s Rules for Certified Child Care Centers (available free online)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
These physical requirements must be met in order to successfully perform this teaching job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:
- Walk on a frequent basis.
- Stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Lift 25 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds on occasion.
Pay: $15.95 - $16.50 per hour
