You’ll ensure the environment is safe, well-maintained, and supports resident satisfaction through proactive maintenance, staff leadership, vendor management, and regulatory compliance. With personalized care plans, 24/7 staff support, and a full range of amenities; from a beauty salon and game room to a library, private dining, and even a fishing pond, you can feel confident, connected, and right at home.What You’ll Do:Manage the daily maintenance and facility operations of the community, ensuring systems and equipment are functioning effectively and safelyDevelop and execute a preventative maintenance program in compliance with regulatory standards and company policiesSupervise, schedule, and evaluate maintenance staff and, where applicable, housekeeping, laundry, and transportation teamsEnsure operational performance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire panels, and emergency response systemsOversee vendor contracts, service agreements, and capital improvement projects, ensuring quality and timelinessMonitor departmental budgets, track expenses, and contribute to capital planning and cost controlsConduct apartment and unit inspections prior to new resident occupancyAssist with capital projects, renovations, and refurbishments to maintain a high-quality environmentMonitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing life safety, maintenance, and environmental standardsParticipate in the Safety Committee and disaster preparedness planningPrepare departmental budgets, review variances, and implement corrective actions as neededRespond promptly to after-hours emergencies and provide on-call support as requiredFoster a service-first, resident-centered culture within all facility operationsQualifications:High School Diploma or Bachelor’s/Technical degree in a related fieldMinimum of 4 years of experience in a maintenance leadership or supervisory roleHVAC certification, licensure, or equivalent training strongly preferredWorking knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, fire panels, and emergency response systemsExperience managing housekeeping, laundry, and/or transportation operations preferred (varies by community)Demonstrated success in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programsExperience managing vendor contracts and capital projectsStrong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with TELS or other work order management systemsExcellent communication, leadership, and team-building abilitiesMust be able to pass background check and drug screeningAvailability for after-hours emergency calls and participation in on-call rotationWhy Join Us?Thrive in a purpose-driven environment that puts residents firstJoin a collaborative, supportive leadership team that values your voiceBuild meaningful connections and create lasting impact for residents and their loved onesBenefits You’ll EnjoyWe offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes competitive pay with early access to earned wages, flexible scheduling, health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off and holidays, a 401(k) with employer match, paid training and growth opportunities, meals and uniforms (where applicable), and additional perks such as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), volunteer time off, and wellness-related benefits.Equal Opportunity Employer: We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
