Your Role:As the Business Office Director, your role includes overseeing the financial, billing, payroll, and human resources functions of the community. The community’s reputation for teamwork and professionalism makes it a fulfilling place to grow your career in senior living.What You’ll Do:Oversee business office operations, including billing, collections, accounts payable, payroll, and resident accounts Prepare, reconcile, and maintain accurate financial records, including cash controls, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements Collaborate with department leaders to assign and track departmental expenses and budgets; prepare financial and management reports as needed Maintain resident, vendor, team member, and financial files in accordance with policies and compliance requirements Partner with residents and families to resolve billing and collection matters professionally and accurately Lead community human resources processes including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, benefits administration, payroll, and record maintenance Guide department leaders on employee relations, policy compliance, and performance management Oversee employee engagement and safety initiatives, including appreciation programs, safety committee leadership, and workplace injury reporting Conduct exit interviews and prepare regular reports for community leadership Supervise, train, and coach business office staff, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all processes Ensure corporate policies and internal controls are consistently applied Perform other duties as assigned to support community operations Qualifications:Associate’s degree in Accounting desired with a minimum of one year of related experience requiredExperience in business office management, payroll, or human resources strongly preferred Strong organizational and leadership skills with attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in financial systems, human resources information systems, and Microsoft Office applications Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and compliance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and team members Why Join Us?Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package – medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) and more for eligible positions Thrive in a purpose-driven environment that puts residents first Join a collaborative, supportive leadership team that values your voice Build meaningful connections and create lasting impact for residents and their loved ones Benefits You’ll Enjoy:Competitive wages Early access to earned wages before payday!
