Full Job description
Discovery SCM is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Administrator who will oversee daily administrative functions in the warehouse, including document and record management, procurement and distribution of office and protective supplies, and meeting coordination and documentation. This dedicated professional will apply strong organizational and record-keeping skills to ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient warehouse operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
1.Administrative Support
- Handle daily office tasks in the warehouse, including document printing, filing, distribution, and archiving.
- Manage office supplies, protective gear, cleaning materials, and other consumables; monitor usage and maintain records.
- Support facility-related tasks, such as coordinating repairs, cleaning, utilities, and security services.
2. Meeting and Documentation
- Assist with warehouse-related meeting arrangements, including scheduling, sending notices, preparing materials, and drafting meeting minutes.
- Organize and maintain administrative documents, policies, and procedures related to warehouse operations.
3. Coordination and Communication
- Act as a liaison between the warehouse and other departments (head office, finance, HR, etc.) for administrative tasks.
- Ensure smooth communication and follow-up of assigned tasks.
- Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties assigned by the manager.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an office environment preferred
- 1 year(s) in the Logistics or Shipping Industry preferred
- Global Supply Chain knowledge helpful
Language
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English is a must
- Fluent Spanish (preferred)
Others
- H-1B visa sponsorship will be considered depending on performance and overall contribution to the business
- Experience in overseas warehouse operations (preferred)
