Minimum of Bachelor's Degree Required. (Assistance Provided to Obtain Teaching Certification in the State of Missouri.)
Teaching Certification Preferred.

Job Expectations:
- Teacher works to design instructional opportunities for students to access state learning standards and to achieve IEP, Behavior Intervention Plan, and transition goals.
- Teacher is able to manage the classroom environment and the various adults assigned to supporting classroom needs.
- Teacher monitors students receiving related services weekly (Speech, Occupational Therapy, Counseling, etc.)
- Teacher accepts direction and adheres to policies and procedures.
- Teacher demonstrates tact, resourcefulness, patience, and dedication and reacts calmly and effectively in high emotion situations.
- Teacher maintains ongoing progress records for all students assigned and communicates regularly to parents.
- Teacher demonstrates preparedness for IEP meetings through the submission of drafted documents according to supervisors timeline.
