Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Clinical Intern to join our adolescent treatment team. Interns will gain exposure to a variety of modalities, including individual therapy, family therapy, and group interventions.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family sessions under licensed supervision
- Conduct intake assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and treatment planning
- Co-facilitate evidence-based groups (e.g., DBT skills, CBT, emotional regulation, substance use education)
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Participate in weekly supervision and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support crisis intervention efforts in accordance with program protocols
- Collaborate with caregivers, schools, and community partners as needed
- Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality laws, and trauma-informed care practices
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's or Doctoral program in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Eligible for clinical internship/practicum placement through academic program
- Strong interest in working with adolescents and families
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, supportive clinical environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to cultural humility, inclusivity, and client-centered care
- Experience supporting youth in mental health, school, residential, or community settings
- Familiarity with trauma-informed treatment approaches
- Bilingual or multilingual candidates encouraged to apply
