Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team and provide exceptional care for our infants aged 6 weeks to 1 year old. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about working with infants and has a strong understanding of early childhood development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a nurturing and safe environment for infants, providing responsive care that includes feeding, diapering, and playtime.
- Plan and implement activities that support sensory and motor skill development.
- Engage with infants through language, songs, and interactive play to stimulate early learning and bonding.
- Maintain close communication with parents, providing daily updates on their child’s routines and milestones.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards to create a secure and clean environment for infants.
Qualifications:
- A CDA (Child Development Associate) or TCC (Technical Certificate of Credit) in Early Childhood Education is preferred but not required. Candidates must be willing to obtain this credential within the first year of employment, and we will support you through every step!
- Experience in an infant or early childhood setting is a plus.
- Patience, strong communication skills, and a nurturing, attentive personality are essential.
