We are looking for a Clinical Director to join our team at our Intensive Outpatient Program in Ennis!
Job Summary:
The Clinical Director provides leadership and oversight of all therapeutic programming and clinical services at the facility. This role ensures high-quality care delivery through supervision of therapists, case managers, assistant clinical directors, and—at Eating Disorder Solutions (EDS)—dietitians and chefs. The Clinical Director develops program schedules, maintains regulatory compliance, and serves as the primary liaison between clinical staff and facility leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise, support, and evaluate the clinical team, including therapists, case managers, assistant clinical directors, and (at EDS) dietitians and chefs.
- Oversee the implementation and fidelity of treatment programming and group therapy curriculum.
- Facilitate clinical meetings, case reviews, and multidisciplinary treatment planning.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with licensing and accreditation standards.
- Monitor clinical compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and organizational protocols.
- Manage therapist caseload assignments and ensure clinical productivity standards are met.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director, Nursing, and Operations teams to ensure coordinated client care.
- Respond to escalated clinical concerns, client crises, or grievances in a timely and ethical manner.
- Maintain knowledge of evidence-based practices and lead ongoing clinical training and development.
- Contribute to quality assurance audits, utilization reviews, and outcome reporting.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field required.
- Active and unrestricted Texas licensure as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist required.
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Strong knowledge of substance use, co-occurring disorders, and trauma-informed care models.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, documentation standards, and utilization review processes.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and regulatory audits preferred.
Job Type: Full-time; exempt
Shift/Schedule: 9:00am - 5:00pm; Monday through Friday; some weekends as needed
Pay Range: $75,000 - $115,000 per year, plus 10-30% annual bonus potential

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

FLSA Classification:
This position is Exempt and is not eligible for overtime under federal and state wage and hour laws.
