Discovery Life Sciences is a trusted provider of quality biospecimens and laboratory services to hundreds of customers across the U.S. and around the world. The Sales Support Associate contributes to our mission by assisting the insides sales and global account teams as they seek to develop and execute strategic initiatives. This position provides dedicated, knowledgeable support focused on customer communications, feasibility, quoting and reporting. The incumbent in this role may perform some or a combination of the responsibilities below.

Responsibilities: *
- Create and maintain opportunities, maintain the integrity of data in sales database, submit cases to feasibility, and assist with the feasibility of an opportunity; create sales quotes, and close out purchase orders
- Generate product inventory reports, account briefings, and other reports as needed
- Assist both outside and inside sales representatives in updating and managing open opportunity pipeline on a continuous basis
- Respond directly to client requests for information, sales quotes, requests, and other business activities as directed by members of the Sales and Management Teams
- Maintain excellence, accuracy, and speed in all correspondence with both internal and external constituents
- Become a subject matter expert in the procurement of human tissues in order to support current projects
- Find creative ways to identify new business and improve processes
- Build positive working relationships and support a healthy team environment with colleagues

Education and/or Experience Requirements: *
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1-3 years of biotech experience preferred
- Ability to communicate directly with potential clients via both email and phone
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
- Team-first attitude and passion to achieve inside sales and company-wide goals
- Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Google Docs. SalesForce.com
experience is desirable but not required
