Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on ski lift equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues with ski lifts and implement effective solutions in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards while conducting maintenance and repairs on ski lift machinery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for regulatory compliance and historical reference.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other lift mechanics, ski patrol, and resort management to coordinate maintenance schedules and address operational needs.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to any lift-related emergencies or malfunctions, following established protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Training and Development: Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay current with industry best practices and advancements.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems, preferably with experience in ski lift maintenance or a related field.
