What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor position at Discovery Kingdom?
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact this summer? If you’re outgoing, enthusiastic, and eager to inspire children, we want you to be a camp counselor at Discovery Kingdom’s 2026 Summer Camp! Join us in providing quality indoor and outdoor educational and recreational activities for children ages 5-12. You will play a crucial role in ensuring their safety, growth, and success while engaging them in arts and crafts, sports, science, nature, and field trips. This is an excellent opportunity for high school graduates seeking summer employment, college students studying education or recreation, as well as teachers looking for summer work!
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old (21 to drive the bus)
- Have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
- Consent to fingerprinting, a criminal records check, driver’s license check, protective services record check, and a sex offender registry check
- Prior experience working with children is highly preferred
