What You'll Do
As a Classroom Specialist, you'll support classrooms throughout the center, helping create positive learning experiences while ensuring children receive exceptional care and attention every day.
Your responsibilities include:
- Provide classroom support wherever needed throughout the center
- Assist with teacher breaks, classroom transitions, and daily scheduling needs
- Support diapering, toileting, meals, naps, and other daily routines
- Engage children through storytelling, music, movement, crafts, educational games, and hands-on activities
- Encourage positive behavior, social skills, and confidence
- Assist teachers with lesson plans and classroom activities
- Supervise children during indoor play, outdoor play, meals, naps, and transitions
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe classroom environments
- Collaborate with teachers and center leadership to ensure smooth daily operations
- Communicate professionally with coworkers and families when appropriate
What We're Looking For
- At least 16 years old
- Passion for working with children of all ages
- Previous childcare experience is helpful but not required
- Comfortable adapting to different classrooms and age groups
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, patient, organized, and flexible
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to complete all required Montana licensing, training, and background check requirements
