Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Manage daily administrative operations, including handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining digital and paper records.
- Assist in the preparation and dissemination of school communications, such as newsletters, announcements, and policy updates.
- Coordinate virtual and in-person meetings and events, ensuring appropriate scheduling and technical setup.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for student and parent inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
- Support the enrollment and registration processes, maintaining accurate student records and documentation.
- Facilitate communication between families and faculty, addressing concerns and providing necessary resources.
- Assist teachers with administrative tasks, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with students.
- Maintain and update faculty schedules, ensuring alignment with the school's academic calendar.
- Manage logistics, organize materials and maintain records for faculty and staff professional development and meetings.
- Utilize school management software to track attendance, grades, and other student data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide basic technical support for virtual learning platforms, assisting users with access and functionality issues.
- Generate reports and analyze data to support school operations and decision-making processes.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in education, administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an administrative assistant role, preferably within an educational or virtual learning environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
