Discovery Depot Childcare is hiring part-time teachers for our After-School program which is located on various elementary school campuses. You must be available to work every school day 2:45-6pm, M-F. You must love children and be very responsible! You will work hard but will be rewarded with the joy of watching children grow and learn! We offer a family atmosphere and truly appreciate our staff members. Dependability is key as children need consistency! Fingerprint-based criminal background checks are a necessity. You must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, but we will provide this training to the right person along with 24 hours of childcare training. Summary

Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in educational and recreational activities after school.
- Implement lesson plans that promote learning and development in a safe environment.
- Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive atmosphere for all students.
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of children.
- Support children with special needs and adapt activities to meet diverse learning requirements.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and well-being.
