Part- Time bilingual Mental Health Therapist (MSW)

Mental Health Professional Job Purpose: Provides social work services to patients receiving mental health services.

Mental Health Professional Job Duties:

· Administer and document the client assessment record evaluation and develop an individual treatment plan

· Ensure treatment plan problems, goals, objectives, and interventions have continuity and are in proper sequence

· Make session plans compatible with treatment plan goals/objectives

· Write progress notes in an efficient, clear format

· Maintain progress notes in an up-to-date manner per agency guidelines

· Ensure progress notes reflect activities related to goals and objectives of approved treatment plan

· Select activities to meet individual and/or group needs

· Use techniques that convey a sense of importance for therapeutic goals and objectives

· Reinforce positive efforts of clients

· Maintain a punctual and dependable schedule

· Read and abide by policies and procedures which have been adapted by the agency

Skills/Qualifications:

· A Master’s degree in social work, clinical psychology or related field

· Demonstrate professional and ethical attitudes toward corporation

· Possess emotional maturity

· Respond effectively to crisis situations;

· Relate to severely disturbed and/or difficult persons in order to determine appropriate mental health services, monitoring and housing

· Gather and analyze pertinent data

· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff of interdisciplinary teams and community providers

· Assess and diagnose mental disorders and determine need for psychiatric services
Maintain detailed records and prepare clear, concise written documentation

· Fluent in English and at least one other language

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
